Beautiful Fitness Blogger Who Stopped Shaving Body Hair Shows Off Her Growth

A fitness blogger more than a year has stopped shaving her body hair and revealed what it was like.

Morgan Mikenas is encouraging people to do what makes them feel most comfortable. She is fighting with the social pressure on women to keep their body hair trimmed.

Morgan receives a lot of positive support from her 7,000 followers on Instagram for her fitness as well as body hair.

Morgan recalled a time she was bullied for her body hair at school but now is empowered to embrace a more natural look.

"There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty."~Steve Maraboli 🌸✨ Not just woman, but everyone! Imagine if everyone just decided that today was the day they loved themselves and embraced every part of them selves. Accepting and loving your body and your "flaws" because you know they are what makes you who you are. If you are focused on being true to yourself in every moment, you are less concerned what others think, which will lead to peace of mind. When you have nothing to hide and you can freely be yourself, there is a profound peace/confidence you will emanate to the world that will inspire others. ✨💝🤘🏼I also just posted a new YouTube video on why I don't shave my body hair and how it helped me(link in bio)☺ #bodypositive #spreadlove #behappy #namaste #hairywomen #healing #healthylifestyle #selfcare #loveyourself #beyourself #bethechange #divine #inspireothers #inspirationalquotes #positivity #goodvibesonly #lifeisbeautiful #hairy #gratitude #weareone #higherconsciousness #freespirit #empowerment #smile #feelgood

In her Youtube video titled ‘Why I Don’t Shave’, fitness blogger Morgan says:

I guess my number one reason why I stopped was that it just took so much time. It took so much of my time to get in the shower.  Have to shave everything and then wash my hair and then wash my body. It’s just like another thing.

I just, one day, was like ‘why am I doing this anymore? This just takes so much time.’

After I let it do its thing and grow out I just realised ‘oh hey this is kind of nice’. It started getting super soft.

When you shave your body hair it’s prickly and itchy and uncomfortable. So I guess that’s another reason why.

The fitness model explained her shock when she took schoolchildren swimming and they said she looked like a man.

From an extremely young age, women are told that being hairy is in some way dirty and unattractive, so most of us shave because we think that.

Shaving should be a choice done for a positive reason, not because women feel like that have to.
